Domain Northside: Austin’s Hip North Downtown
Domain Northside is a fast-growing mixed-use development that opened in late 2016. The 304-acre development is Austin’s all-inclusive community north of downtown. Adjacent to the original Domain, Northside offers an urban lifestyle with a variety of commercial, office, hotel, and residential spaces where residents and visitors alike can live, work and play.

Adjacent to the original Domain, Northside offers an urban lifestyle with a variety of commercial, office, hotel, and residential spaces where residents and visitors alike can live, work and play.
Encotech was retained to provide Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing engineering for phases I and II, and the Domain Northside’s Rock Rose District. The approximate total square footage of the project was 1,805,807 sqf. The scope of work included residential apartments over podium retail, single level retail-cold dark shell, single level retail-white shell, single tenant and restaurant/bar finish-outs, and precast parking structures. The design also included necessary chase locations and coordination for retail refrigerant lines, condensate, sewer, and domestic water lines.
