– Lucas Stockburger
Lucas Stockburger, P.E., QCxP
Lucas believes that “engineering is about solving problems and being able to communicate and implement the solutions.” Experienced in engineering optimized, efficient designs, Mr. Stockburger translates his “solutions” into his projects. Lucas is known for being client-responsive and proficient in meeting deadlines and seeing projects to the end to ensure quality and precision. He is proud to say that “I see each member of the Encotech staff and of the project teams we work with as a friend, and I find that befriending contractors, architects, and owners alike helps with keeping the team moving in a uniform direction.”
Over the years, Mr. Stockburger has established his leadership role within Encotech by developing a strong footprint as an assertive engineer and project manager. “The most exciting part of joining Encotech was the opportunity to become part of a team where I could develop my engineering knowledge and learn project management and business development.” Mr. Stockburger had just obtained his Professional Engineer license when he joined Encotech, since then, he has become a partner in the firm: “I am proud to be one of Encotech’s leadership team helping direct a company that has had an extraordinary impact in the City where I live. Together with our entire staff, we have made Encotech one of Austin’s best places to work”.
After obtaining his mechanical engineering degree from Texas Tech University, Mr. Stockburger worked at a couple of engineering firms. In 2013 he made the career path change from contracting to consulting engineering in the MEP field. He designed maintenance facilities, office buildings and participated in real property inventory and condition assessment programs for the Air Force and the Department of Defense.
Mr. Stockburger has acquired a full array of IDIQ and On-Going delivery experience, with clients ranging from The University of TX at Austin to the Texas Facilities Commission. In his role as Senior Mechanical Engineer, he has excelled at finding solutions to complex problems such as replacing the existing HVAC equipment within an occupied mid-rise office building while minimizing occupant impact. It is a hallmark of his work to “analyze each possible approach to solve a problem, and then reach out to other members of my team and see what additional solutions I might be missing. At Encotech, we leverage our diversity to fuel innovation”.
